Here, following the Supreme Court's decsion inMartin v. Hadix, 527 U.S. 343 (1999), the Ninth Circuit held that the attorney fee caps set forth in 42 U.S.C. ยง 1997e(d) passed constitutional muster and did not violate the Equal Protection Clause.
